Have you ever wondered how rings are made? would you like to learn? During this class you will learn exactly how to make your own rings and set a stone. We will start in copper or brass while we perfect your technique and the final rings will be made in silver once you understand the process. You will leave with beautiful rings, one of which will be set with a stone.
On this course you will learn basic metalsmithing techniques of sawing, sizing accurately, filing, sanding, hammer texturing, stamping, soldering and basic stone setting.
All materials will be provided along with teas, coffee and biscuits.
